The Good Wives’ Team
Fancy Macelli-
Meet our fearless leader, Fancy Macelli. Fancy started off in the entertainment industry at the early age of five and never wanted to do anything else. She has worn many hats — Actress, Writer, Editor, Producer ,True-Crime Podcaster and YouTuber, and most recently TV Network OWNER.
Fancy fell into true-crime when she decided to reach out to the Blanchard family and began working on the case of Gypsy Rose Blanchard for a scripted series she wanted to write and produce. Fancy has always loved true-crime and had even thought of a career in law enforcement when she first started college (ya know as her fall back career), but she never thought she’d end up so immersed she could almost barely keep her head above water. But that is exactly what happened.
Fancy, although a true Cali girl at heart, currently resides in Kentucky. She has been married to the guy who drove her crazy all through school for 27 years, and has 3 beautiful grown daughters and one incredibly wild and amazing grandson. She loves spending time with her family, including her 2 rescue dogs, Rowdy and Bella, and 2 rescue cats, Percius & Cassiopea.
Sara Sands-
Sara Sands is an original partner in our company. She wrote, and produced our first webseries, Coping, loosley based on her and Fancy’s own life struggling with mental health and losing Fancy’s mother, and Sara’s Granny and how they overcame such a hard time in their lives. Sara currntly is married and is finshing up a degree in History with a minor in Folklore. She heads up our speculative fiction department. Sara was the only other person on our team that went to LA to work on investigating the life, the crimes, and the murder of De De Blanchard.
The Late Christina Aliperti-
We will always keep our Christina in our hearts. Christina was with our team for 7 years. She passd away in Feb 2023 due to complications caused by long term Covid.
Christina is a podcaster and writer who is obsessed with true crime. She’s from Brooklyn, NY and her passion for true crime started when she was about 10 years old after the murder of Lisa Steinberg in NYC in 1987.
Since then, she has always had a need to learn about all the details of a case and analyze “the whys” and “the hows”, with the goal of one day being able to understand why these horrific cases happen and find ways to prevent them from happening again.
She’s so proud and honored to be a part of The Good Wives Guide To True Crime and Mad Ginger Entertainment; a company that uses it’s platform to dig deep into cases to share the truth, no matter how good, bad or ugly it is and continues to advocate for victims every day.
