Introducing The Good Wives’ Network
Hello friends, Fancy, Christina, Colleen & our whole Mad Ginger Entertainment Team are pleased to announce our very own network. We’ve been on YouTube for about three years now and sadly true crime just doesn’t have a place there unless it’s from the major networks. For some reason, they are perfectly able to monetize and run all kinds of ads but when you are an independent true crime reporter most of your videos get “demonitized.” This has seriously limited our ability to grow. It’s frustrating to pour our hearts and souls into our content to not be appreciated by the platform you are posting on. So, Fancy, went looking for…

Effects of Domestic Violence on Children
Domestic violence can have profound and long-lasting effects on children who are exposed to it. These effects can manifest in various ways, including emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and social difficulties. Here are some common impacts: It is important to note that not all children exposed to domestic violence will experience the same effects, as each child’s response is influenced by various factors, such as their age, resilience, support systems, and individual coping mechanisms. Providing appropriate support, therapy, and a safe environment can help mitigate the impact of domestic violence on children and assist them in healing and building healthier futures. I recently wrote a paper on how exposure to domestic violence…

Day 2 of My Quest to Get the Attention of Gary Vee
I’ll be honest I almsot abandoned ship today. I thought maybe I’m bing ridiculous. Am I just wasting my time? But then I decided everything I have ever gotten in lif I have had to work very hard for. I was able to get these things with tenacity and precervence. So I decided consitency is the key and this is a good lesson in patience. Below is my second mail to Gary. Hey Hey Gary, Me again. So, I never really set out to be a social media markter. I kind of felt that it was just not for me. But I am a person who does see progress and…

My Quest to Get The Attention of Gary Vee
Today was a rough day. I admitted I just couldn’t pull off something I had sank my heart and soul into. It wasn’t easy. It’s something I just have never been good at. On a day I could have by all rights taken the day to lay down and cry and rest my very weary head. Instead I dcided to do something CRAZY!!!!! I wrote to Gary Vee, a guy I consider to be the best social media marketer in the world. I tell everyone about him and his 88 pieces of content from one long form content (something I have yet to accomplish but I’m close). I consistantly talk…

The Three Main Phases of The Cycle of Abuse
Yes, domestic violence can often be described as a continuous cycle. This cycle typically consists of three main phases: tension building, explosion or acute incident, and the honeymoon phase. However, this honeymoon phase is typically short-lived, and the cycle begins again with tension building, leading to another explosion and then followed by another honeymoon phase. Over time, the tension-building phase may become shorter, and the explosive incidents may become more frequent and severe, trapping the victim in a dangerous and volatile situation. Breaking the cycle of domestic violence is challenging, as victims often face barriers such as fear, economic dependence, isolation, and psychological manipulation by the abuser. Support from friends,…

Domestic Violence Case Evaluation and ETHICS!!
So, as I announced a while back, I have returned to school to finish a degree in forensic psychology. Today’s discussion post really hit me with exactly what I have been looking at in not just Anne’s case but several other cases in the realm of domestic violence. I thought I would share my discussion post thoughts and answers as it 100% applies to what Anne and I are dealing with right now. Anne was contacted on Valentine’s Day through Facebook once again to contact a DSS social worker in the city of Springfield. Immediately she felt a sense of fear. This is a common feeling in survivors that suffer…

Every 9 Seconds…
Since the moment that we began on the Blanchard case Mad Ginger Entertainment (MGE) has been focused on social change. We believe our systems are terribly broken and it is our mission to help fix and renew these systems. Our beloved late Christina was a champion for these causes. We strongly feel she is still leading the charge. We met Anne (name changed for safety) in 2017 when she applied as a psychology student to work on our investigative team dealing with the Gypsy Rose Blanchard case unfolding in her hometown. It became clear rather quickly that something terrible was happening in her personal life. In 2018 Anne began trying…
